Managed IT Services — Your Systems, Proactively Looked After

24/7 monitoring, helpdesk support, patch management and Cyber Essentials-aligned security for homes, businesses, corporates, industrial sites and the public sector. One provider for your physical and IT security.

Proactive, Not Reactive

IT Support That Finds Problems Before You Do

Most IT problems are expensive because they're caught too late — a missed patch, an expiring certificate, a backup that quietly stopped running months ago. Our managed service is built around continuous monitoring and scheduled maintenance, so issues get fixed before they become downtime.

As a converged physical and IT security provider, we bring the same discipline we apply to alarm and CCTV monitoring to your IT estate: 24/7 oversight, documented processes, and a real person to call.

Core Services

What's Included in Managed IT Support

24/7 Helpdesk

Remote and on-site support with a real UK-based engineer, not a ticket queue that disappears overnight.

Cyber Essentials Support

Preparation, remediation and ongoing compliance support for Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

Patch & Update Management

Scheduled patching across devices and servers to a documented cycle — closing the gap attackers rely on.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

Automated, monitored backups with tested recovery plans, so a lost device or ransomware event isn't a lost business.

Cloud & Microsoft 365 Management

Setup, licensing, security hardening and day-to-day administration of your Microsoft 365 or Azure environment.

Proactive Monitoring

Round-the-clock monitoring of servers, endpoints and network devices, flagging failures before users notice.

Cyber Essentials, Handled

Certification Without the Headache

Cyber Essentials covers five technical controls — firewalls, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection and patch management — and is a mandatory requirement for many UK government contracts under Procurement Policy Note PPN 014. As of April 2026, enabling multi-factor authentication on any cloud service that offers it is a hard requirement, with no exceptions.

  • Gap assessment against all five Cyber Essentials controls
  • MFA enforcement across cloud services and remote access
  • Remediation support ahead of self-assessment or CE+ audit
  • Ongoing management to maintain certification year on year

Who We Work With

Managed IT for Every Kind of UK Organisation

Domestic

Home office and household IT support — set-up, troubleshooting and security for those working or running a business from home.

Business & SME

Fully outsourced IT department for small and mid-sized businesses — helpdesk, security and strategy, without the in-house overhead.

Corporate

Dedicated account management, SLA-backed support and multi-site consistency for larger corporate IT estates.

Industrial

Uptime-critical support for manufacturing and logistics sites where IT and operational technology depend on each other.

Government & Public Sector

Cyber Essentials Plus-aligned support built around PPN 014 procurement requirements for public sector contracts.

One Provider, Converged Security

Physical security and IT security increasingly depend on the same infrastructure — a compromised network can disable cameras and access control just as easily as it can expose data. As the same team behind your alarm, CCTV and access control, Prism's managed IT service is designed to protect the network everything else relies on.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Cyber Essentials is a self-assessed questionnaire covering five technical controls. Cyber Essentials Plus adds an independent, hands-on technical audit — including vulnerability scans and device sampling — to verify those controls are actually working, not just documented. Many government and supply-chain contracts require one or both.
Response times are agreed as part of your service level agreement and vary by issue severity — a full outage is treated very differently to a single user's printer issue. Because we monitor proactively, many issues are caught and resolved before you'd even notice a problem, rather than waiting for a call.
Yes. We run a structured onboarding process to document your existing environment, migrate monitoring and access, and take over support with minimal disruption. Most clients notice no downtime during the switch.
Yes, Microsoft 365 and Azure management is a core part of our managed service — from licensing and mailbox administration through to security hardening, conditional access and mandatory multi-factor authentication enforcement.
Often, yes. A single ransomware incident or extended outage can cost far more than a modest monthly support plan, and basics like automated backups, patch management and MFA dramatically reduce risk. We scale our service to match the size of the organisation, so a sole trader isn't paying for enterprise-level overhead.
